Hi, I’m an English teacher working mainly with AP English Language students who struggle with essays and timed writing. In sessions we pull apart sample passages, practise planning quickly and work on sentence clarity and flow. I like using real articles and speeches, not just textbook extracts, so you get used to the kind of rhetoric and tone the exam tends to use. Many of my students also bring in IA or debate work for extra feedback.

Currently teaching at an international school, I support AP English Language students from grade 10–12. My classes often include students for whom English is a second language, so I pay close attention to argument structure, tone and paragraphing. We work systematically through past free-response questions and scoring guidelines so you know what a 4 or 5 actually looks like. I also offer short holiday intensives before the May exam window.

I’m an AP Lang tutor, working with students who want their writing to sound less forced and more natural. We edit your school essays together, focusing on introductions, transitions and how to use evidence without just repeating the text. I also help with personal statements, since the same skills you use in rhetorical analysis show up again in college applications. Evening and weekend slots tend to go first, so I plan ahead with families.
